This is an entirely adequate wrist strap. The elastic attachment to the cane shaft is very nice. The flexibility and stretch of the twisted wrist strands make it very comfortable. However, the nature of the twisted strand construction keeps the wrist loop itself twisted and that makes it difficult to get on and off of my wrist. I wish it was more relaxed and would remain fully open so I could get my hand into and out of it more easily.

There are many sturdy looking straps available but they all connect the parts with flimsy little rings. These are the only straps I found that are very sturdy and connections made with heavy cord and good stitching. 2 of my cane handles are beautiful, but breakable. If the cane dropped due to little, flimsy rings, they'd shatter. It's not always easy to keep them safe while juggling carryons in an airport

How does this strap attach to the cane? It kind of looks like it would fall to the floor if I let go of it. I want a strap that is sturdy and the parts of it not attached to each other by dinky little links. You made a purple heart cans shaft for me to fit my faux ivory handle. Went on a Rhine river cruise and people loved my cane. Your product was a big hit!

To put the wrist strap on you remove the rubber and stretch the elastic ban and fit it over the cane shaft and slid it up.
