Double Ring and Collar Set with Polished Finish

Q: I'd like to order a set of rings / collar for a cane and a shilaleigh head i'd order for a walking stick i'm making. same question, asked two ways; how do i attach; what physical support does, the ring and collar help to the tip of a cane or handle of the shilaleigh stick? thank you.

Wes , Thank you for the question. A ring or collar or a combination of both put on the end of the cane shaft just below the handle ads a lot of strength to the cane shaft and prevents it from splitting out. The wood handle I sell like the shillelagh have a 1/2" hole drilled in it and we also supply a 1/2" hickory dowel to mount the handle to the cane shaft with epoxy or a good wood glue.
