Q: How do I lenthen the tip (by about 2 inches} of my walking cane?

Hal,
If your cane is made of wood the safest way to lengthen the cane is to take the handle off and replace the cane shaft with the right size. To add 2 inches to a wood cane I would take the handle off and add the wood to the top of the cane shaft and put the handle back on, the wood is thicker at the handle end and much safer plus collars and rings can be added to help strengthen the cane.
